Software License Agreement

This Software License Agreement is a legal agreement between you (either as an individual or a single entity) and PatchCAD, for PatchCAD software products, including computer software, associated media, printed materials, online or electronic documentation.

By installing, or using the Software you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You carry full responsibility for not obeying the following agreement.

PatchCAD grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install the Software, allows up to the permitted number of Authorized Users to use the Software.

You cannot reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, in whole or in part, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law of your country.

You are advised not to disclose to any third party nor allow any third party to have access to or use of your assigned Serial Number, License or Activation Key. If this happens, you won’t be issued a new Serial Number, License or Activation Key, unless you make a new purchase of the Software.

You may not remove, obscure or alter any notice of copyright, patent, trade secret, trademark or other proprietary right or disclaimer appearing in or on any Software or accompanying materials.

PatchCAD reserves the right, with or without notice, to restrict your use or access to the Software, in whole or in part.

Paid Upgrades

PatchCAD shall issues a new version of it’s software products on regular basis. “Authorised users” of previous versions, who have already paid to use the software, will be able to upgrade to the new version. At the discression of PatchCAD, this may be a paid feature, the upgrade price will be specified by PatchCAD through its web-site, web-store and marketing materials.

Limited Liability

In no event shall PatchCAD be liable for any damages resulting from loss of data, use, profit or revenue, or for any indirect, special, consequential, incidental or punitive damages, however caused, even if PatchCAD has been advised of the possibility of such damages. PatchCAD liability for any other damages shall in no event exceed the amount paid for the software that caused such damages.

Consent for Internet-Based Services

The software features described below connect to PatchCAD or service provider computer systems over the Internet. In some cases, you will not receive a separate notice when they connect. By using these features, you consent to the transmission of this information.

Computer Information. The following features use Internet protocols, which send to the appropriate systems computer information, such as your Internet protocol address, the type of operating system, browser and name and version of the software you are using, and the language code of the device where you installed the software.

PatchCAD

Under the PatchCAD license agreement, the license allows for installation and activation on 3 (three) computers.

Refunds

Once a license has been activated, its purchase cannot be refunded.

If you have had a change of heart with software purchased directly from PatchCAD, please contact our Customer Support Team (either by email or via the contact form on this website) within 30 days of your purchase to receive a refund. Refunds requested more than 30 days after your initial purchase date will not be issued unless the transaction was subject to a fraudulent purchase.

In the case you are issued a refund, it should appear on your credit card statement within 7 to 10 business days. Upon receiving a refund, you shall cease all use and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Software for which you no longer possess a valid, purchased license. PatchCAD reserves the right to disable any product keys and/or serial numbers issued to you for the refunded products.

Non-Refundable Cases

PatchCAD reserves the right to decline refund claims in the following cases:

  • Once a license has been activated, its purchase cannot be refunded.
  • We will not refund or credit the difference between the price you were charged and the limited-time price reduction, such as those that occur during special sales events.
  • We will not apply discounts in retrospect, i.e. to orders that have already been placed.
    Please note that if you have a promotional coupon, those details must be filled in before proceeding to the order check-out.
  • Please note, we also reserves the right to decline refund claims for special offers and promos 7 days after a purchase was made.

Information and Data We Collect

You may be asked to provide personal data in course of:

  • Supplying feedback and information about your use of our products.
  • Requesting us to stay in touch with you.

Our server may log your IP address when you visit patchcad.com.

Use of Your Information

We use your information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • We may use the information to enhance product quality and to determine future product direction. We may provide information about new and existing products that may be of interest to you which you can unsubscribe from in one click.

We will not distribute your data to be used in mailing lists or for any other purpose other than what is stated in the “Use of Your Information” section.

We may disclose Personal Data so far as reasonably necessary: To third parties including our hosting company. When we are required to do so by applicable laws, statutes, regulations, standards or codes of conduct.
